The Beverly Foundation Legacy Website

Thank you for visiting the Beverly Foundation Legacy website. As you know, the Beverly Foundation dissolved its operations in 2014. Although it ceased its operations, it arranged to continue its contributions to senior and volunteer transportation through the development and support of initiatives with other organization. The National Volunteer Transportation Center was organized and will function as a quasi-independent initiative of the Community Transportation Association of America.  The STAR Award Program is continuing as a joint initiative between the National Volunteer Transportation Center and Ride Connection of Portland, Oregon. (see below).   Education on Senior Transportation will be organized delivered as on-line l programs by the University of  Massachusetts, Boston. Historical Documents have been given to the University of Southern California Social Welfare Archives.

While the Beverly Foundation Legacy website will continue to serve as a repository for much of the information and materials developed by the Beverly Foundation through 2013, and in early 2014, materials related to volunteer transportation (including the Map of Volunteer Transportation in the US) also will be located on the new website of….
